Safety, Terms & Privacy

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a Mingelo account. You must provide accurate account information and may not use Mingelo where doing so would violate applicable law.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure and do not share access to your account. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Mingelo may restrict, suspend or remove accounts that create safety, fraud, abuse or platform-integrity risks.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Mingelo the limited permission needed to host, process, display and transmit that content so the service can work. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.

4. Acceptable use

Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, scam, spam, exploit or deceive other members. Do not attempt to bypass security controls, scrape private member data, distribute malware or use automated accounts without written permission.

5. Beta service

Closed-beta features are provided for testing and may change or be removed. Mingelo does not promise uninterrupted availability. Important personal files should not be stored only on Mingelo.

6. Ending use

You can permanently delete your account from Account & Privacy. Mingelo may end or restrict access when necessary to enforce these terms, protect members or protect the service.

Information Mingelo processes

This can include account details, profile information, exact birth date, languages, interests, photos and videos, posts, messages, group activity, reports, privacy settings, device/security signals and service usage. Exact birth dates are kept private from ordinary members; the service exposes age instead where needed.

Why it is used

Data is used to provide accounts and social features, deliver messages and notifications, personalize discovery, prevent abuse and fake profiles, investigate reports, keep the service secure and improve the beta.

Authenticity and human verification

Profile images can be analyzed for duplicate, synthetic or suspicious-image signals. When configured, an external image-analysis provider may process an uploaded profile image for an AI-generated-image signal. These signals support review and are not treated as automatic proof that a member is fake.

Verified Human is optional and is not identity verification. If you choose it, a short private camera recording is submitted for moderator review. Verification recordings are intended to be removed after a moderation decision when cleanup succeeds.

Who can receive data

Data may be processed by infrastructure, authentication, storage, anti-abuse and security providers needed to run Mingelo. Member content is also shared with other members according to the visibility settings you choose. Reports and private verification material are limited to authorized moderation workflows.

Retention and deletion

Information is kept while needed to operate the account, protect the service, resolve abuse or meet legal obligations. Account deletion removes account-linked information through Mingelo's deletion workflow, subject to technical backups, security logs and legally required retention.

Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile, control visibility and messaging preferences, block members, manage notifications and permanently delete your account. Depending on your location, privacy law may also give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability.

Closed-beta privacy contact

During the closed beta, use the same contact channel through which you received your Mingelo beta invitation for privacy or data requests. A dedicated privacy contact and complete controller details will be published before public launch.
